Lava Iris 506q is now available online with quad-core processor, 5-inch display for Rs. 11700

Lava Iris 506q the company's latest smartphone is now available online. The Iris 506q features a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, with 512MB RAM running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It features a 5-inches qHD (960 x 540 pixels) OGS display with 16 Million colors for real life colors. OGS or One Glass Solution makes for a thinner display with better touch sensitivity.

The phone features a 5 megapixels primary Auto Focus camera, BSI sensor, panorama, HDR as well as 4x digital zoom. There's also a 4 megapixel front facing camera for video calls which also supports gestures to control music and video player as well as the gallery app.

Connectivity options on the Iris 506q are what is generally available in this category with Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth with A2DP, GPS and 3G HSDPA 21Mbps connectivity. The Lava Iris 506q is now available on Snapdeal for Rs. 11700, which is a steep price considering its sister brand XOLO has the Q800 with 1GB RAM and 1.2 Ghz quad-core processor available in the same price bracket.
