Lava Agni 3 5G launched in India starting at Rs.20,999 with 6.78/1.74-inch up to 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED dual displays, Dimensity 7300X SoC
Lava has launched its latest smartphone in the Agni series, the Agni3 5G in India, after the video teaser, and the successor to last year's Agni 2 5G. It features a 6.78-inch 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. One unique feature of the Agni3 5G is its secondary AMOLED rear screen, called Instascreen.
This secondary screen allows users to receive calls, view notifications, take selfies with the rear camera, and access everyday apps like Music Player, Steps & Calorie Tracker, Voice Recorder, Timer, Stopwatch, and Weather. It's the first phone in its segment to offer dual screens, and when not in use, the Instascreen displays an animated character named Firey.
The phone also includes an Action Key, a first in its category, which lets users assign functions with single, double, or long presses to easily switch between apps like the flashlight and recorder.
It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X SoC, which is optimized for dual-screen devices, the Agni3 5G also comes with a 5000mm² copper-plated 9-layer vapour chamber cooling system and X-Axis Linear Motor Haptics. It comes with 8GB RAM + 8GB Virtual RAM, up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage and is based on Android 14, Lava guarantees 3 major Android updates and 4 years of security updates.
The phone boasts a glass back and is equipped with a 50MP Sony-sensor rear camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8MP 3X telephoto camera. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging support, though the base model does not include a charger in the box.

The Lava Agni 3 5G comes in Pristine Glass and Heather Glass colours, and it is now available for pre-order on Amazon.in, with pre-booking sales starting on October 8th, and the open sale beginning on October 9th. Lava is also offering the Agni Mitra service, which provides free at-home replacements for Agni 3 users during the one-year warranty period.
