itel City 100 launched in India for Rs.7,599 with 6.75-inch 90Hz display, IP64 ratings, 5200mAh battery
itel has expanded its budget smartphone portfolio in India with the launch of the itel City 100. The phone features a sleek unibody design, measures just 7.65mm in thickness, and is IP64-rated for dust and water resistance.
It sports a 6.75-inch HD+ IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 700 nits peak brightness, and 83% NTSC color gamut. The Dynamic Bar 2.0 adds functionality for face unlock, call notifications, and battery alerts. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T7250 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM (expandable up to 12GB with virtual RAM) and 128GB of internal storage.
itel claims the device is optimized for up to 60 months of smooth performance. It packs a 5200mAh battery with 18W fast charging support via USB-C. Additional features include a 13MP rear camera, an 8MP front camera, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, an IR blaster, and dual-band Wi-Fi.
Running on Android 14, the City 100 also includes the Aivana 3.0 AI assistant, offering capabilities such as two-finger text extraction, image-to-Word/PDF/Excel conversion, AI-powered writing and editing, auto-generated scanned documents, and address navigation from emails.
