iQOO Z9 Turbo long battery life version to be launched on January 3 with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, 6400mAh battery
Update - iQOO has announced that the Z9 Turbo Long Battery Life Edition will be available for purchase in China starting January 3rd. Along with a larger battery and a new colour option, the phone also features dual-frequency GPS for enhanced location accuracy, according to the company.
Earlier - iQOO launched its latest smartphone, the iQOO Z9 Turbo smartphone earlier this year and has now confirmed the release of the Z9 Turbo Long Battery version in China, scheduled for January 2025. The design remains unchanged, and the phone will continue to feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, like its predecessor. However, the battery capacity will increase from 6000mAh to 6400mAh, while iQOO assures that the phone will retain its slim profile.
A new ‘Flying Blue’ color variant will be introduced, showcasing a wavy texture on the back panel. The phone will also include dual rear cameras with OIS for the main sensor. It is expected to be available in Black, White, and Blue color options.
According to iQOO product manager Xing Cheng, the long-battery life version is not a completely new product iteration but an updated version. It maintains the maximum battery capacity while preserving the original weight and thickness for a consistent feel.
Additional details are expected soon, with the launch slated for early January 2025.
