iQOO Z8 and iQOO Z8x Appeared on Geekbench Listing with Dimensity 8200/Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, up to 12GB RAM
iQOO is preparing to launch its latest Z8 series of phones in China, succeeding the Z7 series that made its debut in March. Recently, both the iQOO Z8 and Z8x models have been spotted on a Geekbench listing with the model numbers V2314A and V2312A.
The benchmark results indicate that the Z8 will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, a notable upgrade from the Snapdragon 782G SoC used in the Z7. Additionally, the listing reveals that the Z8 will have 12GB of RAM and run on Android 13. According to rumors, the phone is expected to feature an FHD+ 144Hz LCD screen while keeping the 5000mAh battery and 120W fast charging capabilities from its predecessor, the Z7.
The iQOO Z8x is set to be equipped with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, a significant upgrade from the Snapdragon 695 SoC used in the Z7x. According to the listing, the Z8x will feature 8GB of RAM and will run on Android 13. Rumors suggest that the phone will come with an FHD+ 120Hz LCD screen while maintaining the 6000mAh battery capacity and 80W fast charging capabilities from the Z7x.
The iQOO Z8 series is expected to make its debut in China sometime in Q3 of 2023, which falls within the months of July to September.
