iQOO Neo9 Pro launched in India starting at Rs.35,999 with 6.78-inch 1.5K 144Hz LTPO AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC
iQOO has launched its latest flagship smartphone in the iQOO Neo series the iQOO Neo9 Pro in India, fulfilling its earlier commitments. The device boasts a sizable 6.78-inch 1.5K 1-144Hz LTPO AMOLED display featuring 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, 16,000-level brightness adjustment, SGS low blue light, and low flicker certification, with a peak brightness of 3000 nits.
It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, the Neo9 Pro incorporates the Q1 self-developed chip, which integrates frame sensing technology for real-time load monitoring, precise scheduling and distribution, and optimal allocation of large, medium, and small cores to game threads with varying load requirements. It offers up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 4.0 storage.
Addressing heat dissipation concerns, the device features a 6K Canopy VC liquid cooling system covering an area of 6043mm², constituting 48.82% of the entire projection area. Moreover, the heat dissipation system has undergone material and structural upgrades, with the entire body constructed from 3D stainless steel stamped VC. Operating on Android 14 with Funtouch OS 14, the Neo9 Pro is committed to 3 years of Android OS updates and 4 years of security updates, a first in the iQOO Neo series, aligning with the iQOO flagship series.
The Neo9 Pro boasts a 50MP Sony IMX920 VCS sensor with OIS, identical to that found in the vivo X100, along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 16MP front camera. The Red variant showcases a dual-tone design with a premium vegan leather finish, while the Black version sports a matte finish. Powering the device is a robust 5160mAh dual-cell battery supporting 120W fast charging, capable of charging from 1% to 40% in just 9 minutes.
