iQOO 8 to be launched on August 4 with QHD+ Display, Snapdragon 888+ SoC, 12+4GB RAM
iQOO is all set to launch its upcoming flagship 5G smartphone the iQOO 8 in China on August 4. Now, the renders of the phone have surfaced that confirms the device’s name as well as some of its key specs by several leakster from China. The rendered image shows an iQOO 8 poster complete with FlashCharge branding, so we can expect a 120W ultra-fast flash charging similar to the iQOO 7.
In renders also confirmed the upcoming phone’s name with the model number V2141A, and also shared some key specs directly from the phone’s About section. As per the leaks, the iQOO 8 will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 888 Plus with 12GB RAM + 4GB virtual memory, up to 256GB storage, and works on OriginOS 1.0 based on Android 11. The device is also said to feature a QHD+ 1440p display with a high refresh rate.
The iQOO 8 with the same V2141A model number has passed through China’s MIIT database revealing its supported GSM band list. We should know more detail and the full specifications of the phone before the official launch.
