iQOO 15 launched with 6.85-inch 2K LTPO 144Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, 7000mAh battery

iQOO has officially launched its latest flagship samrtphone, the iQOO 15 in China, as promised. The iQOO 15 features a 6.85-inch 2K+ 144Hz 8T LTPO flat display using Samsung’s M14 luminous material. It supports 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, a 3200Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, and a 360Hz multi-finger touch sampling rate. The display reaches 2600 nits brightness in HBM mode and a peak brightness of up to 6000 nits.

It debuts the world’s first 2K LEAD OLED technology, which delivers lower power consumption, higher brightness, better environmental performance, and a slimmer profile. It also introduces Pleasing Eye Protection 2.0, featuring non-polarized natural light display, hardware-level gaming eye protection, and the industry’s lowest screen brightness of just 1 nit, according to the company.

Performance and Gaming -

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, co-optimized with Qualcomm, the iQOO 15 reportedly achieves 4.38 million points on AnTuTu 11. Its dedicated Q3 gaming chip supports true 2K gaming, 2K+144 FPS concurrent playback, and native super-resolution and super-frame support for seven official games. The device comes with up to 16GB LPDDR5X Ultra Pro RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage.

For cooling, it includes the industry’s largest 8000mm² single-layer VC with 200 million nano-graphene oxide particles, improving heat dissipation by 5%. Dual layers of high-thermal-conductivity graphite (2000W/mK) cover the display and battery, providing a total heat transfer area of over 14,000mm².

This setup maintains stable performance — during a one-hour heavy “Genshin Impact” session, the back temperature peaked at only 39.3°C, with a 1.5°C difference between the hottest and coolest areas. The iQOO 15 also features Energy Aura and screen lighting effects for immersive visuals, 1511 War Drum Master speakers for enhanced game audio, and the industry’s first Warhammer MAX dual-axis vibration motor for tactile feedback.

Camera -

The phone sports a triple rear camera system — a 50MP Sony main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP Sony Pro-level periscope telephoto lens. The system uses an ultra-thin prism triple-reflection M-shaped optical path design for high-quality imaging and comfortable handling.

With NICE algorithms and advanced image enhancement technologies, the iQOO 15 delivers cinematic-grade photos and videos. It also supports Live Photos, AI visual effects, and more creative modes.

Design -

The iQOO 15 is available in Lingyun, Legendary Edition, Track Edition, and Wilderness color options. It features an AG micro-matte back panel with AF coating that provides a smooth, premium touch. The wide R-angle frame design ensures a comfortable grip in horizontal orientation, while the energy halo light strip positioned beneath the Deco not only enhances the visual appeal but also helps reduce the Deco’s overall size for a better in-hand feel, according to iQOO.

Battery -

The device is equipped with a 7000mAh single-cell Blue Ocean battery, built using fourth-generation silicon anode and second-generation semi-solid-state battery technologies. This advanced setup ensures durability across a wide range of temperatures.

iQOO says the phone integrates four key technologies to maintain long-term battery health, including an all-scenario direct-drive power supply that enables simultaneous gaming and charging without overheating. The iQOO 15 supports 100W ultra-fast wired charging and 40W wireless fast charging, and is compatible with PPS and PD standards.

iQOO 15 Honor of Kings 10th Anniversary Collector’s Edition -

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Honor of Kings, iQOO has introduced a special Collector’s Edition of the iQOO 15 — its most deeply customized model yet. This edition features a custom body design with a floating crystal logo and exclusive themed accessories.

It incorporates a King’s Journey theme, Hero grating lock screen, and Hero desktop widgets, offering an immersive King of Glory gaming experience. The collector’s box includes a Letter to the Summoner, custom Hero postcards, NFC-based Honor of Kings Hero flash cards, and an MVP Honor Ring, making it a true collector’s delight for fans of the game.

The iQOO 15 is now available for purchase in China, with the Wilderness color variant set to go on sale starting October 31st. iQOO has also confirmed that the smartphone will launch in India in November.
