Everyone rejoice! Instagram Beta is now available for Windows Phone 8 devices.
Its been a long time coming, and considering Instagram is now a part of Facebook we expected this earlier. Instragram in its beta avatar is now available for Window Phone 8 devices. At present there is no video support, but Instagram says its coming soon. At present though you can't take images from Instagram's own view finder but can use Windows Phone's camera interface, we expect Instagram's own camera lens to be available soon.
The app looks great with Windows Phone's metro/tiled interface. In terms of features the app is almost at an equal footing with the Android and iOS apps apart from video support including full front and back camera support, linear/radial tilt shift for extra depth of filed, custom designed filters XPro-II, Earlybird, Toaster and many more.
So finally you have the coveted Instragram official app on Windows Phone 8, although there have been alternatives, they always lacked the User Experience Instragram offered with its official apps on Android and iOS. You can download the app from the Windows Phone store right now.
