InFocus M812 and M370 to get Android 6.0 Marshmallow by December 2015
It seems InFocus is going to beat everyone else to the punch with Marshmallow update. The company has just announced that the InFocus M812 and the M370 will get their Android 6.0 Lollipop update by the end of this year.
The two devices couldn't be more different from each other, the InFocus M370 sits in the entry-level segment with Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor with 1GB RAM, 8GB storage running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and a 5-inch HD display. While the InFocus M812 runs on the Snapdragon 801 quad-core chip running Android 5.0 Lollipop with a 5.5-inch 1080p display. You can have a look at both our reviews below.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow will bring Doze mode for battery to improve standby time, granular app permissions and overall faster performance. At present these are the only InFocus smartphones that seem to be getting Android Marshmallow update this year, there is no word on if or when the popular InFocus M2 will get the update.
