HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 and GT 7 Pro Launched Globally with 3,000 nits Display, Advanced Health Tracking, and Sports Features

HUAWEI has expanded its smartwatch portfolio with the launch of the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 and HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Pro in the Global Market alongside the HUAWEI WATCH D3.

HUAWEI WATCH GT 7: Design, Display and Battery

The HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 is offered in 41mm and 46mm variants. Both models feature AMOLED color displays with a 466 × 466-pixel resolution and peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits.

• 41mm: 1.32-inch display, 352 PPI
• 46mm: 1.47-inch display, 317 PPI

The 41mm variant is available in Blue, White, Pink and Grey, while the 46mm version comes in Blue, Yellow, Black and Grey. Both models use the HUAWEI EasyCross strap and offer 5 ATM water resistance along with an IP69 rating.

Battery endurance is rated at:

• 46mm: Up to 21 days with light usage, 12 days with typical usage, and up to 51 hours in trail running mode
• 41mm: Up to 14 days with light usage, 7 days with typical usage, and up to 32 hours in trail running mode

HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Pro: Design, Display and Battery

The HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Pro is available in a 46mm configuration and features a nano-tech ceramic bezel paired with an aerospace-grade titanium alloy case. It comes with a 1.47-inch sapphire glass display offering a 466 × 466-pixel resolution, 317 PPI and peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits.

The smartwatch is available in Yellow, Green and Black and comes with the HUAWEI EasyCross strap. It offers 5 ATM water resistance, IP69 protection and supports diving to depths of up to 40 meters.

The GT 7 Pro is equipped with a high-silicon stacked battery and supports Wireless SuperCharge. HUAWEI says a full charge takes approximately 95 minutes.

Positioning and Snow Sports

Both smartwatches use HUAWEI’s Sunflower Positioning System combined with the AI-XDR algorithm for enhanced route tracking. According to HUAWEI, the system delivers up to 20% improved route accuracy during high-speed snow sports while also providing more precise tracking for outdoor runs.

For indoor skiing and snowboarding, the watches can automatically record metrics including:

• Maximum speed
• Average incline
• Total descent
• Number of runs
• Lift and rest times

For outdoor snow activities, the watches provide maps for more than 3,000 ski resorts spanning 59 countries. The maps include slope names, difficulty levels and lift stations. Users can also monitor turn types, turn count, turn frequency, routes and G-Force.

G-Force measures the acceleration and physical forces generated during turns, helping users understand the intensity of their movements and how the forces vary throughout a run.

Cycling, Running and Workouts

For cycling, users can transfer routes from the HUAWEI Health app to the smartwatch and view elevation profiles along with upcoming terrain. During rides, the watch can alert users about approaching climbs and sharp turns while displaying relevant terrain information.

Workout information can be synchronized with HUAWEI Health and shared through social media.

The HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 series provides daily health insights based on sleep, recovery and activity data. Both models include Pulse Wave Arrhythmia Analysis, which uses the PPG sensor to identify potential indicators associated with atrial fibrillation and premature beats.
