Huawei Honor V8 is now official with a 5.7-inch Quad-HD display running on the company's own Kirin 950 SoC which features an octa-core processor comprised of 4 Cortex-A72 and 4 Cortex-A53 cores alongwith the Mali-T880 GPU. The phone has a full metal unibody build packing a 3500 mAh battery with support for fast charging, all in a thin 7.75mm shell.

There's 4GB RAM onboard and you can choose either 32GB/64GB internal storage which can be expanded upto 128GB with a microSD card using the hybrid SIM card slot. The Honor V8 runs Android Marshmallow right out of the box and the most striking feature here is the dual 12MP cameras at the back with laser auto-focus and 1.76-micron pixel size which should deliver better image quality.

Alongwith the dual-camera setup you can also find a fingerprint sensor at the back. There is a weird third key on the right for accessing voice actions. Coming to connectivity options you have dual-SIM 4G LTE support, dual-band WiFiac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC and a USB Type-C port.

Here is the pricing of all the Honor V8 variants:

    • Honor V8 (1080p Display, 32GB Storage): CNY 2299 (about $350 or Rs. 23500)
    • Honor V8 (1080p Display, 64GB Storage): CNY 2499 (about $380 or Rs. 25500)
