Huawei Ascend P6 now official, comes with 4.7-inch 720p display in a 6.2mm thin body
Huawei has finally unveiled the Ascend P6 in a press conference in London. The Ascend P6 features a 4.7-inch 720p in-cell LCD, and is powered by Huawei's own K3V2 chipset. The chipset features a quad-core 1.5GHz Cortex-A9 processor and 2GB RAM. The most striking feature of the Ascend P6 is its extremely thin profile at just 6.18mm, which might get it the title of the world's slimmest smartphone. The phone runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Huawei's Emotion UI on top.
The Huawei Ascend P6 also features a 8MP primary camera with BSI capable of recording 1080p videos, and a 5MP front-facing camera for video chats. There's 8GB of internal storage, which is expandable using a microSD card and everything is powered by a 2000mAh battery. Although there is no LTE support, but the Ascend P6 supports HSPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM Radio and comes with dual-sim support as well.
The Ascend P6 will be available in China later this month, while Western Europe will be able to get their hands on it sometime in July, followed by the rest of the world. There is no word on pricing at the moment.
