Huawei to launch Ascend Mate 7 with fingerprint sensor at IFA 2014 on September 4th. The press invite doesn't say much but hints on the fingerprint sensor with a thumb impression saying "Feel". Huawei is planning to launch two variants of the phone one targeted towards the high-end segment and the other towards the mid-to-high segment.
The higher-spec'd variant will feature a 6-inch Quad-HD display with 3 GB RAM while the lower spec'd model will come with full-HD 1920x1080 pixels resolution and 2 GB RAM. Both will run on the company's own Kirin 920 Octa-core processor and feature 13 MP/ 5 MP cameras.
Android 4.4 with Emotion UI 3.0 will come standard on the Ascend Mate 7 with connectivity options including LTE, Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluetooth 4.0.
