HTC updates the One M8 to Android Lollipop in Europe
Updates are coming in from Germany and France that HTC has started rolling out Android Lollipop for the One M8. Jeff Gordon, Senior Global Online Communications Manager at HTC himself took to twitter to announce the news.
The update brings an improved lockscreen with notifications and a new app-switcher. HTC's Sense 6.0 UI remains pretty much unchanged apart from that, but there are some apps that have been updated to their current versions. The update comes in at 780 MB bringing up the ROM version to 4.16.401.10.
If you haven't received the update notification, you can manually check my going into Settings. Do tell us if you receive the update and if you notice something new, that we might have missed.
