HTC Desire 500 now available in India for Rs. 20990 featuring a quad-core processor and 4.3-inch display
HTC Desire 500 went on pre-order just a few weeks back and is now finally available at Rs. 20,990. The Desire 500 features a 4.3-inch WVGA display with a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon MSM8225Q processor and 1 GB RAM with 4 GB internal storage which is expandable using a micro SD card slot upto 64 GB. In terms of software the phone runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with HTC Sense. Everything is kept running with the 1800 mAh battery.
There are two cameras in the HTC Desire 500, the 8 megapixels primary camera with LED flash and a secondary 1.6 megapixels camera for video calls. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with A-GPS support and micro USB with OTG support. The Desire 500 is beats certified as well, therefore you get better sound quality through the speakers as well as headphones.
