HTC 10 launching in India on May 26th
HTC 10 is launching in India, finally, on May 26th. HTC has just begun sending out press invites for the launch of its latest flagship in India.
Earlier there was word that HTC would only bring the Snapdragon 652 variant to India, but later it was confirmed that we would get the HTC 10 with Snapdragon 820. Coming to the rest of the specs, you have 4GB RAM here, 5.2-inch quad-HD display and runs Android Marshmallow with almost no bloatware.
In terms of design, the most noticeable difference you see if the huge chamfer you see at the back. The BoomSound speakers are a bit different here as well, gone are the two front-firing speakers replaced by a single front speaker and a bottom firing speaker for more bass.
HTC has worked on the camera a lot and now you are getting a 12MP rear camera hhere with f/1.8 aperture lens alongwith a large 1.34um pixel size for better low-light performance with Optical Image Stabilization. You also have a 5MP front-facing camera with Optical Image Stabilization for clear and sharp selfies without any blur.
You will get 4G LTE support, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and NFC here as well. Globally HTC was launched in Carbon Grey, Glacier Silver, Topaz Gold and Camellia Red colors, and presumably all colors would make it to India as well. The HTC 10 is available in the US for about $699 which means it should cost around Rs. 46000 in India. We will be there at the event to cover it live, and get you all the details.
