HONOR X70 launched with 6.79-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 SoC, 8300mAh battery
HONOR has launched its latest smartphone in the X70 series, the HONOR X70 in China, delivering on its earlier promise. It features a 6.79-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive 6000 nits peak brightness. It is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM.
The standout feature is its massive 8300mAh third-generation silicon-carbon battery, which offers six years of durability. This is only the second smartphone to feature an 8000mAh+ battery, following the HONOR Power. Despite its large battery, the phone weighs under 200 grams and measures under 8mm in thickness. It supports 80W wired fast charging and, exclusively on the 512GB model, 80W wireless superfast charging — a first in its segment.
The HONOR X70 is the first smartphone to receive gold label three-proof certification, SGS five-star reliability, and features advanced structural protection like a bulletproof vest structure, aerospace-grade non-Newtonian cushioning, and 2.5m drop resistance.
It’s also the first in the industry to get IP69K dust and water resistance, making it capable of withstanding high-pressure water jets and boiling water. Additionally, it supports AI rainstorm touch and AI glove touch for usability in extreme conditions.
