HONOR WIN Series Industry-First 10,000mAh Battery Smartphones with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC

HONOR has already confirmed the launch of its latest smartphones in the HONOR WIN series, HONOR WIN, and HONOR WIN RT in China on December 26. The company has now revealed that the lineup will be the industry’s first to feature a massive 10,000mAh battery, surpassing HONOR’s own HONOR X70, which packs an 8,300mAh unit.
The devices will use a silicon-carbon battery technology, branded by HONOR as Qinghai Lake. According to the company, users can enjoy up to five hours of continuous gaming while still retaining over 50% battery life.

HONOR has also confirmed that the series will debut a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor capable of functioning even with wet hands, delivering instant unlocking in just 0.14 seconds with a single press. In addition, the smartphones will carry IP68, IP69, and IP69K certifications, ensuring high-level resistance against dust and water.

Powering the HONOR WIN series is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Mobile Platform, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. The company claims an impressive AnTuTu score of 4,409,382. To manage performance and thermals, the phones will include an internal cooling fan, along with HONOR Surround Subwoofer 2.0, featuring dual 1216 symmetrical speakers for an immersive gaming audio experience.
The smartphones are expected to sport a 6.83-inch 1.5K flat display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 50MP primary camera with a large sensor. More details are expected to be revealed ahead of the official launch later this week.
