Huawei Honor 8 with dual-cameras expected to launch in July
Huawei's Honor 8 smartphone is expected to launch in July with the company's own HiSilicon Kirin 955 octa-core processor.
Honor had already launched the V8 variant with dual 12MP rear cameras and we may see the same setup on the Honor 8 as well. Rumors also point to the use of a 2.5d curved glass 5.2-inch 1080p display with 4GB RAM onboard.
Just like the recently launched Honor 5C, it is also expected to come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow based EMUI 4.1. Fingerprint sensor and possibly an infrared sensor may also come standard.
The base model of the Honor 8 is expected to start at CNY 1999 or about $380 for the 4GB RAM/32GB storage variant going up from there for the 64GB and 128GB storage variants.
