HONOR 300 Pro Specs Surfaced Online with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, 50MP Periscope Telephoto Camera
HONOR launched the HONOR 200 series in May and is now developing the HONOR 300 series. Thanks to Leaker Digital Chat Station, specifications for an upcoming HONOR 300 series smartphone have surfaced, and an image of the phone. The HONOR 300 series is rumoured to feature a 1.5K OLED display, an upgrade from the FHD+ screen on its predecessor, and to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
For comparison, the HONOR 200 uses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, while the HONOR 200 Pro is equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. This suggests the HONOR 300 Pro will likely adopt the newer chip.
Additionally, the HONOR 300 Pro is expected to upgrade from a standard 50MP telephoto camera to a 50MP periscope telephoto lens for improved zoom capabilities. The series is also likely to retain 100W SuperCharge fast charging, along with wireless SuperCharge support, as confirmed by its 3C certification.
However, the use of an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner has not been confirmed by the leaker. Given that the HONOR 100 series debuted in China last November and the HONOR 200 series launched in May, the HONOR 300 series could be introduced soon.
