HONOR 100 and HONOR 100 Pro launched with 6.7-inch 120Hz curved OLED display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 / 8 Gen 2 SoC
HONOR has launched its latest smartphones, the HONOR 100 and HONOR 100 Pro at a launch event in China, as they promised. These devices boast a distinctive design inspired by Art Nouveau and Gaudí's architecture, with the HONOR 100 showcasing Natural Art Curves reminiscent of moon phases.
Both phone models feature quad-curved OLED displays—the HONOR 100 equipped with a 6.7-inch panel and the HONOR 100 Pro with a 6.78-inch screen. These displays offer impressive specifications, including a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 3840Hz PWM dimming, and a peak brightness of 2,600 nits. Notable features include the Honor Oasis Eye Protection Screen, in-screen fingerprint scanners, and TÜV Rheinland global certification.
While the rear designs vary, with the HONOR 100 having a rectangular camera module and the Pro model featuring an oval-shaped module, both phones excel in selfie photography. The standard HONOR 100 boasts a 50MP front camera, while the Pro model enhances the selfie experience with a dual-camera setup featuring a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth lens.
Both models deliver SLR-level photography, thanks to their OIS-enabled Sony IMX906 50MP primary camera. The HONOR 100 incorporates a dual-camera setup with a 12MP ultra-wide lens that also supports macro photography. In contrast, the Pro model stands out with a triple-camera setup, featuring a 32MP telephoto lens that supports 2.5x optical zoom.
In terms of performance, the HONOR 100 runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, while its Pro counterpart is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Both models can accommodate up to 16GB of RAM and offer storage options ranging from 512GB (standard) to 1TB (Pro model).
Moreover, they feature a wide-area stainless steel bionic VC with an expansive surface area of 4572mm², ensuring ultra-high thermal conductivity. Both devices are equipped with a robust 5000mAh battery that supports 100W HONOR SuperCharge, and the Pro model goes a step further with additional support for 66W Wireless HONOR SuperCharge.
Both phones are 5G-enabled and support Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and NFC, featuring Honor’s C1 radio frequency enhancement chip. The HONOR 100 Pro comes with dual stereo speakers, runs on MagicOS 7.2 based on Android 13, and boasts AI human-computer interaction capabilities, including features like breath wake-up and flip-to-scan.
