HMD Legend and Legend Pro listing on Geekbench with Android 14, up to 8GB RAM; Expected Unisoc T606 SoC
HMD Global has recently announced its intention to release its own line of HMD-branded mobile devices, accompanied by changes to its website transitioning from Nokia to HMD. The Leakster @evleaks disclosed the codenames for the upcoming HMD phones: Pulse, Legend, Pulse+, Legend Plus, Pulse Pro, and Legend Pro. Presently, the Legend and Legend Pro have made an appearance in a Geekbench listing, unveiling certain specifications of these devices.
The Geekbench 6 results show similar scores for both phones. They operate on Android 14 and feature a Mali-G57 GPU, suggesting they might be powered by the Unisoc T606 SoC found in the Nokia G22. The Legend boasts 4GB of RAM, while the Pro model boasts 8GB.
Recent speculation suggests that HMD aims to introduce three phones, including an affordable model priced between Rs 10,000 and Rs 15,000. According to reports, the company does not intend to launch any phones exceeding Rs 40,000 in India this year.
Further details about the phones are expected to emerge in the coming weeks, with anticipation building for their potential launch at the MWC later this month.
