HMD Hyper Detailed Specs Surfaced Online revealing FHD+ OLED 120Hz Display, Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC
HMD is gearing up to launch its new smartphone, the HMD Hyper, according to a leak from tipster HMD_MEME (@smashx_60) on X (formerly known as Twitter), who has released detailed specifications of the device.
The HMD Hyper is expected to resemble the HMD Skyline, retaining a Lumia-like aesthetic. Leaked images show the device in Yellow, featuring a punch-hole front camera, a rectangular rear camera module with three sensors, and buttons on the right side.
The smartphone will boast a Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor and equipped with a 4700mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. For memory, the HMD Hyper will include 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, expandable via a microSD card.
The triple rear camera setup features a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 13MP secondary sensor, and an 8MP tertiary sensor. The front camera also has a 50MP sensor, and the rear cameras can record 4K video at 30 fps. While specific connectivity details weren't shared by the tipster, the HMD Hyper is expected to offer features similar to the Skyline, such as 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth v5.2, NFC, and a USB-C port for charging. It will run on Android 14.
