Google Pixel 9 Series Camera Specs Surfaced revealing Pixel 9 Pro and Pro XL May Feature Triple 50MP Rear and 50MP Front Cameras
Google is preparing to launch its upcoming Pixel 9 series including Pixel 9, 9 Pro, and 9 Pro XL on August 13th Globally. Now the Android Authority has disclosed the camera specifications for the Pixel 9 series. The Pixel 9 series will feature a 50MP Samsung GNK sensor for the main camera, an upgrade from the GN2 sensor used in the Pixel 8 series.
Both the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro Fold will continue to use the same 11MP Samsung 3J1 sensor camera from the Pixel 8 series. However, the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL will see significant upgrades, with both models boasting three 50MP rear cameras and a new 50MP front camera.

The Pixel phones powered by the Google Tensor G4 are anticipated to support 8K video recording for the first time. Although both the SoC and the Samsung GNK sensor are capable of 8K recording, Google might limit this feature to the Pixel 9 Pro series.
