Google Pixel 9 images Surfaced Online with 6.03-inch display; Expected Pixel 9 Pro XL
Google Pixel 9 design has been unveiled through 5K renders, signaling its launch alongside the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL. The initial leaked renders for both the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro surfaced a few months ago.
Now, a new render for the Pixel 9 has emerged, marking it as the third device in Google’s Pixel 9 lineup for 2024. The leaked CAD renders by Steve H. McFly (@OnLeaks) via 91mobiles offer a comprehensive view of the Pixel 9 from all perspectives. The design bears a striking resemblance to that of the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL, indicating a unified design strategy by Google for the Pixel 9 series, potentially enhancing its brand identity.
Notably, the Pixel 9 distinguishes itself with two rear cameras, while the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL each sport three rear shooters. Initially mistaken for the Pixel 9 in earlier leaks, the Pixel 9 Pro XL has since been clarified. The leak also discloses that the Pixel 9 will feature a 6.03-inch screen, slightly smaller than the apparent 6.1-inch display of the Pixel 9 Pro, with dimensions measuring 152.8 x 71.9 x 8.5mm, identical to the Pixel 9 Pro.
This aligns with a Pixel roadmap leak from 2022, indicating that the Pixel 9 would have a 6.1-inch display, while the Pixel 9 Pro, codenamed “caiman,” would feature a slightly smaller 6.3-inch display and correspondingly sized body. Additionally, there would be the Pixel 9 Pro XL, codenamed “Komodo,” boasting a larger 6.7-inch display.
The Pixel 9 series is expected to be powered by the Tensor G4, codenamed “Redondo.” Further specifications are yet to be revealed, with more details anticipated closer to its expected introduction in October.
