Google to be announced Pixel 5, Pixel 4a 5G, Chromecast with Google TV, new Nest speaker on September 30
Today, Google has confirmed that the new Pixel phones will be announced in the Global market on September 30th. The Company has already confirmed that it will launch Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 this year. Now, it has released the ‘Launch Night In’ invite that also confirms the new Chromecast and the smart speaker will be launch at this event.
Google Pixel 5 5G -
According to the rumors, Google Pixel 5 could have a 5.8-inch FHD+ OLED 90Hz display with Octa-Core Snapdragon 765G processor, up to 8GB DDR4X RAM, 128GB (UFS 2.1) storage and works on Android 10. It has a dual rear camera setup where a 12.2 MP primary camera with LED flash, OIS along with Ultra-wide camera, and on the front side has 8 MP selfie camera. It comes with an IP68 Water and dust Resistant ratings and is powered by a 4000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging and Qi wireless charging.
Recently, the Google Pixel 5s has surfaced online with live images that reveal a similar camera design and rear-mounted camera design as the Pixel 5, so it is not clear if there will be internal changes to this phone.
Google Pixel 4a 5G -
The Google Pixel 4a 5G could come with a smaller OLED 60Hz display, Snapdragon 765G 5G processor, up to 6GB RAM, 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage and has 3.5mm audio jack. It will be powered by a smaller 3800mAh battery with support of 18W fast charging.
Google Chrome-cast -
The Company also introduced Next generation Google Chromecast with code-named Sabrina. It will likely available in a new color - light pink, along with the usual black and white. This time it will be loaded with Android TV into the device with full apps support along with an interface to cast videos from smartphones, etc. There are also reports of new Android TV UI. and it will come with dedicated remote control.
Google Nest Smart Speaker -
Google has already teased its upcoming Nest smart speaker that will be the successor of the Google Home (Nest) that was launch back in 2016. It surfaced with the codename ‘Prince’ and has also passed through the FCC certification that revealing coral color, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 30W DC charger in the box. The smart speaker will be expected to come with larger drivers compared to the predecessor.
