Google Pixel 4a launched at $349 with 5.8-inch FHD+ OLED display, Snapdragon 730G SoC, 6GB RAM; launch in India in October
Google just launched its latest mid-range smartphone Pixel 4a smartphone, as they promised. It has a 5.8-inch Full HD+ OLED display, features a polycarbonate body with a matte finish and rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It runs on the Snapdragon 730G processor with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB UFS 2.1 storage, Titan M Security chip, and works on Android 10 that should be upgradable to Android 11 in the upcoming month.
Coming to the cameras, it has a single rear camera where a 12.2 MP primary camera with LED flash, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), Dual Pixel autofocus, and AI-powered camera features. On the front side has an 8 MP front-facing camera that also has AI-powered camera features.
Pixel 4a comes with HDR+ supports, dual exposure controls, Portrait Mode, Top Shot, Night Sight with astrophotography capabilities, and OIS and EIS stabilization. It also has Recording features that connect with Google Docs to seamlessly save and share your transcriptions and recordings only in English. Personal Safety app for real-time emergency notifications and also comes with car crash detection in select markets, Live Caption, which provides real-time captioning only in English and now automatically caption your voice and video calls.
The Pixel 4a powered by a 3140mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging through USB Type-C port, and it comes in Just Black color.

The Pixel 4a pre-order has started already in the US and will be available on August 20th at $349 (Rs. 26,245 approx.) for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version. The company has also confirmed that they will be launch Pixel 4a in India in October and will be available on Flipkart.
Google also confirmed that they will also launch Pixel 4a with 5G support, starting at $499 (Rs. 37,525 approx.) and Pixel 5 that will be available on U.S., Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Japan, Taiwan, and Australia accept India.
