Nexus 5 stars in hands on video with nothing to hide under the curtains
We saw glimpses of the Nexus 5 running Android 4.4 Kitkat, but this time around a complete 7 minutes long hands on video has been posted online. Leaving nothing to the imagination, the hands on video features the new Nexus 5 which is being made by LG and is probably an early prototype since it still has the "Not for Sale" moniker on it. We can tell this is a prototype since the landscape Nexus logo is missing and the OS running on it is still called Android Key Lime Pie, when we already know Google renamed it to KitKat for this release cycle.
We already have the specs for the Nexus 5 from various leaks, which say that it will have a 5-inch 1080p display, 8 MP primary camera and Snapdragon 800 chipset. Although Google has yet to verify the existence of the Nexus 5, given the increasing frequency of the leaks its launch is imminent and could happen anytime in October. Maybe, on October 22nd, the same day Apple and Nokia have scheduled their press conferences.
