Gmail users on Android finally get universal attachment support, vacation responder

The just updated Gmail app for Android brings along zip file download as well as vacation responder, just in time for the holidays. If you are running Android 4.4 KitKat you can also print emails through Cloud print support in the new OS. Attachments of all types are now supported and downloadable as well. Vacation responder is another great addition which lets you set the starting and end dates alongwith a subject and text. You can also allow Vacation Responder to respond only to your contacts. Disabling the Vacation Responder is just as easy as switching off the toggle, because that's exactly what you have to do.

The update has already begun rolling out, and might hit you sooner than later.
