Gionee M2 now available with 5-inch display, 4200 mAh battery for Rs. 11123
Gionee M2, the company's latest mid-ranger is now available in India. The phone features a 5-inch FWVGA display, 1.3 GHz quad-core processor with 1 GB RAM, Mali 400MP2 GPU running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Gionee's custom skin. The most surprising part about the Gionee M2 is its 4200 mAh battery which is a first in this or for that matter any other segment. Its simply the largest battery ever used in a 5-inch smartphone at this price point. So, there's quite literally no competition in this respect. The Gionee M2 has been priced at Rs. 11,123 which is quite similar to the Micromax Canvas 2.2 which boasts similar specs apart from the battery.
The Gionee M2 has a 8 MP primary AF camera with LED flash accompanied by a 2 MP front facing camera. Connectivity options are a plenty with 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM Radio and USB OTG support. There's 4 GB of internal memory which is expandable upto 32 GB.
