Gionee F103 now also comes in 1GB RAM and 3GB RAM variants
Gionee recently launched its first smartphone in the Fashion Series, the F103 which is also now being made in India. The company today announced expansion of F103 smartphone into a series with 1GB and 3GB RAM variants in addition to the original variant with 2GB RAM.
Rest of the specs including a 5-inch HD IPS display with Dragontrail Glass protection, 8MP rear, 5MP front-camera, Android 5.1 Lollipop remain the same. The F103 also packs a 2400 mAh battery running on the MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor with 4G LTE support.
The Gionee F103, and the Fashion Series itself is aimed at design first smartphones. With Mirror Finish, metallic accents, the F103 feels quite a polished device, far more premium than what its price tag suggests.
Pricing will remain the same for the 2GB RAM variant at Rs. 9,999, the new 1GB RAM variant of the Gionee F103 will come in at Rs. 8499 and with 3GB RAM at Rs. 10,999. All three variants are now available through retail stores.
Commenting on the launch, Mr Timir Baran Acharyya - GM, Gionee India said:
We have shipped almost 2,16,700 units from the time we have introduced the Fashion Series in the Indian market. Design, supported with features has become an essential element for consumers when they buy phones. With our F series, we have achieved to get both design and performance in one device, for our consumers get the best of both worlds. Hence, we have introduced two more variants for F103, i.e. in 1GB and 3GB RAM which will ensure an even superior experience for consumers, while keeping the style quotient intact.
