Samsung Just Made The Galaxy S8+ 6 GB RAM Variant More Lucrative To Buy
Samsung is clearing the path for their recently announced Galaxy Note 8 by making the predecessor S8+ cheaper. Although the company has a history of reducing the price of their flagships once the next one comes out, the price cut for S8+ 6 GB variant has happened twice since its launch 2 months ago.
If you are not a fan of the S-Pen, you can certainly have a look at the Galaxy S8+. The price for 6 GB RAM variant with 128 GB storage had already been slashed to Rs. 70,900 (a difference of 4000 INR from launch). To make room for the Note 8, we now have another price cut of Rs. 5000. Meaning, the total price cut since the launch has been a whopping Rs. 9000. You can purchase the 6 GB variant S8+ from Flipkart, Samsung store, or offline retailers at Rs. 65900 now.
Samsung Galaxy S8+ Specifications in a Nutshell
The Infinity display (QHD+) is the main highlight of S8+ with curved sides which make the phone easier to grip. Under the hood, all the Indian variants sport Exynos 8895 SoC. The 6 GB version of the smartphone has an onboard storage of 128 GB. Moreover, you can up the storage using a microSD card up to 256 GB.
On the back, it has a 12-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization and f/1.7 aperture. When it comes to the selfie camera, the megapixel count for the sensor dips down to 8.
Comparison: Samsung Galaxy S8 vs Galaxy S8+ (Plus)
The smartphone features a fingerprint scanner (awkwardly placed, though), an iris scanner, and facial recognition technology. Lastly, it also sports IP68 dust and water resistance. If you had been waiting on getting the Galaxy S8+, this is a perfect time, as I don't think there would be another price drop in the offing.
