Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge launch event for India scheduled for March 23
Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge launching in India on March 23rd. The company has scheduled an event in New Delhi where Samsung's latest and greatest would be unveiled. Both the Galaxy S6 variants were launched at MWC 2015 earlier.

Apart from the striking difference in design, both the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge run on the same hardware. You have a 5.1-inch quad-HD (2560x1440 pixels) Super AMOLED display where the S6 Edge's display curved on both sides. They are powered by the octa-core Exynos 7420 SoC with 3 GB DDR4 RAM running Android Lollipop. Since there is no memory card slot this time around, you would have to choose between 32, 64 and 128 GB variants.
16 MP rear camera with OIS, LED Flash and 5 MP front camera round up the imaging department. Both support Cat.6 LTE. The Galaxy S6 has a 2550 mAh battery while the Galaxy S6 Edge has a 2600 mAh battery. Pricing as well as availability will be known at the event.
