Firefox OS running Keon and Peak GeeksPhone available for purchase
Firefox OS is a smartphone OS from Mozilla, which lets developers create apps through HTML 5. The first two phones running Firefox OS from GeeksPhone the Keon and Peek, went on sale today. The Peak is the higher end of the two and costs €149 while the Keon €91. Both devices are aimed and developers who want to create applications for Firefox OS.
The Peak has a 4.3” qHD ( 960x540 pixels ) screen, 1.2GHz dual-core CPU with 512MB RAM, 8MP primary camera and 1,800 mAh battery while the Keon has a 3.5” HVGA ( 320x480 pixels ) screen, 1GHz single-core processor with 512MB RAM, 3MP primary camera and 1,580 mAh battery.
Update: At present though GeeksPhone lists both the Keon and the Peek as out of stock, earlier too they were facing site issues during orders so even the stock issue may be temporary.
