CMF Phone 2 Pro launched in India starting at Rs.18,999 with 6.77-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 7300 Pro SoC
CMF has officially launched its latest smartphone under the CMF by Nothing brand, the CMF Phone 2 Pro in India, as previously promised. The device features a 6.77-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3000 nits peak brightness — a 50% increase over its predecessor.
Under the hood, it's powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro SoC, offering a 10% faster CPU and 5% faster GPU performance compared to the Dimensity 7300 used in the CMF Phone 1. Nothing also highlighted the inclusion of a 6th-generation NPU delivering 4.8 TOPS of AI performance, support for 120 fps gaming in BGMI, 53% better network efficiency, and a 1000Hz touch sampling rate. The device comes with 8GB of RAM, expandable with up to an additional 8GB of virtual RAM.
The phone is equipped with a liquid cooling system and uses graphite materials on both the front and back for better heat management. The camera system has been upgraded too, now featuring a 50MP main sensor with a larger 1/1.57″ sensor size, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP 2x telephoto camera with a 6-element lens setup offering up to 20x digital zoom.
It ships with Android 15, layered with Nothing OS 3.2. CMF has committed to providing three Android OS updates and six years of security patches. It also introduces "Essential Space," an AI-driven hub for notes, ideas, and inspirations, first seen in the Nothing Phone (3a) series. The new Essential Key allows users to capture and send content to Essential Space quickly, record voice notes with a long press, and access saved content with a double tap.
Design-wise, the phone sports an aluminum camera deco and stainless steel screws on the replaceable back cover. Users can also attach fisheye and macro lenses to the universal back cover, alongside accessories like a wallet, stand, and lanyard (sold separately).
The CMF Phone 2 Pro is available in Black and Light Green colours featuring a frosted glass-like back bordered by a metallic frame, while the Orange variant has a metallic finish. The phone is now slimmer at 7.8mm and lighter at 185g compared to its predecessor.
The device continues with a 5000mAh battery supporting 33W fast charging, capable of reaching 50% charge in just 20 minutes. This time, CMF includes a charger and a case in the box for Indian customers. According to the company, the battery will maintain over 90% capacity even after 1200 charging cycles.
