CMF Phone 2 Pro launching in India on April 28th along with CMF Buds 2, Buds 2a, and Buds 2 Plus
Nothing has officially confirmed the launch of the CMF Phone 2 Pro on April 28th, after a series of teasers. This will be the second smartphone under the CMF sub-brand, following the debut of the first CMF phone in September 2023.
The teaser image features two large circles, a smaller grey circle, and an orange circle—hinting at a triple rear camera setup. The two larger circles are likely reserved for the main and ultra-wide sensors, while the smaller one could be for portrait shots. The orange circle is expected to house the flash.
Another teaser reveals a textured, tactile design with a close-up of a sleek metallic corner and visible screw—suggesting that CMF’s signature customizable design will return, similar to what was seen on the CMF Phone 1.
According to previous leaks, the CMF Phone 2 Pro may be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC. It is expected to feature a 6.3-inch display, slightly smaller than the 6.67-inch screen on the original Phone (1). The phone will likely continue to offer a customizable back panel and support for accessories like lanyards via a screw mechanism.
In addition to the phone, CMF will also unveil three new audio products: CMF Buds 2, Buds 2a, and Buds 2 Plus. The Buds 2 will succeed last year’s model, while the 2a and 2 Plus are brand-new offerings expected to sit just below the CMF Buds Pro 2 in the lineup.
The launch event is scheduled for 2 PM BST / 6:30 PM IST on April 28th. More information is expected to be revealed in the days leading up to the event.
