    Zenfone 3 Laser

Asus today announced two new smartphones in its ever expanding Zenfone 3 line-up. The new entrants, Zenfone 3 Laser and Zenfone 3 Max broke cover at an event in Vietnam. The company had announced a new variant of the Zenfone 3 with Snapdragon 821 earlier this week.

The Zenfone 3 Laser, comes with the characteristic laser AF for the rear camera and apart from that it comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p display with 2.5D curved glass on top, 4GB RAM, 32GB storage, a fingerprint scanner all tucked inside a 7.9mm thick metal body. Asus has packed a 13MP rear camera on the new Laser with Sony IMX214 sensor and 8MP front camera.

    Zenfone 3 Max

The Zenfone 3 Max on the other hand packs a 4100 mAh battery which is a bit less considering we had a 5000 mAh battery on the previous-gen variant. But you get metal body here, a smaller 5.2-inch 1080p IPS display, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage alongwith a fingerprint sensor. It also comes with reverse charging, allowing you to charge other devices using the Max as a power bank.

Coming to pricing, the Zenfone 3 Laser has been priced at VND 5,990,000 (about $268 or Rs. 18000) in Vietnam while the Zenfone 3 Max will set you down VND 4,490,000 (about $201 or Rs. 13400) in Vietnam. But that's all the information we have for you now, we'll know more when Asus announces the global availability of these smartphones.
