Apple M5 iPad Pro could Feature Dual Front Cameras for Better Portrait and Landscape Video Calls

Apple iPad Pro 2025 features rumors leak.

Apple may be preparing a notable upgrade for the front-facing camera system on its next iPad Pro. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the upcoming M5 iPad Pro is expected to include a second front camera positioned along the portrait edge of the device.

    Better FaceTime Across Orientations -

The M5 iPad Pro could feature dual front cameras—one each on the landscape and portrait sides—enhancing video calls and selfies regardless of how the device is held. While the current M4 iPad Pro has a single landscape-positioned camera, it led to complaints from users who preferred the earlier portrait setup. Although Face ID still works in any orientation, the new dual-camera design aims to eliminate those concerns.

    A Subtle Refresh for 2025 -

Unlike the M4 iPad Pro, which introduced major hardware changes like an OLED display and thinner design, the M5 refresh is expected to be more modest. It will reportedly include the new Apple M5 chip and this upgraded camera configuration.

    Launch Timeline -

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo previously stated that M5 iPad Pro production would begin in H2 2025. However, Apple could unveil the devices as early as September or October, in line with its typical 18-month iPad Pro refresh cycle.
