Amazfit Bip 6 launching in India on May 16th with 1.97-inch AMOLED display, Bluetooth calling, GPS, up to 14 days battery life

Amazfit has officially confirmed that the BIP 6 smartwatch will launch in India on May 16, after its was launched globally. The BIP 6 is expected to mark a significant upgrade for the BIP series, potentially introducing features not previously seen in the lineup—indicating a possible shift in the series’ market positioning.

Notably, the BIP 6 replaces the LCD screen from the Bip 5 with a larger 1.97-inch AMOLED screen, offering up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness. The smartwatch features a durable aluminum alloy frame and supports Bluetooth calling via an integrated microphone and speaker. It also introduces an ambient light sensor for automatic brightness adjustment.
Additional highlights include built-in GPS with support for five satellite systems, over 140 sports modes—including HYROX Race, Smart Strength Training, and Personalized AI Coaching—and a battery life of up to 14 days. The device also boasts 5 ATM water resistance (up to 50 meters).
The device will be available through Amazon.in and the Amazfit India website. More details are expected to be revealed after the launch.
