Acer Super ZX and ZX Pro launch April 15 India.

Acer is all set to launch its upcoming smartphones, the Acer Super ZX and ZX Pro in India today, April 15th. These devices boast key features such as the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset—touted as the fastest in its category—a 64MP main camera with a Sony sensor, and an FHD+ resolution display, all claimed to be segment firsts.

Acer is marking its return to the Indian smartphone market with this launch, which was initially scheduled for March 25th but was delayed for undisclosed reasons. The company has hinted that these phones will be “game-changers,” though it hasn’t revealed much beyond a teaser titled ‘The Next Horizon Smartphones’, featuring a prominent camera module design.

This comeback follows Indkal Technologies’ announcement last year of a partnership with Acer Incorporated to develop, manufacture, and distribute Acer-branded smartphones in India. The teaser confirms that Indkal Technologies is using the Acer brand name in the country.

At the time of the announcement, the company revealed that the upcoming devices would be priced between ₹15,000 and ₹50,000, targeting consumers looking for premium-quality smartphones with powerful specs, advanced hardware, and cutting-edge software.

Post-launch, the Acer smartphones will be available for purchase on Amazon.in. However, the teaser page remains quite generic, offering limited information. More details are expected to be revealed during the virtual launch event next Tuesday.
