XOLO Q700 with 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 4.5-inch IPS display and Android 4.2 to be launched next week

XOLO has been making strides in the smartphone business in India of late and has now announced the new XOLO Q700. The phone has a 4.5-inch qHD(960 x 540 pixels) IPS display and runs on a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor. The major advantage of the XOLO Q700 is that it will come with Android 4.2 pre-installed. Which means you can switch between profiles on the phone and also get more performance out of the phone.

Here are the specifications of the XOLO Q700:

• OS: Android 4.2 Jelly Bean
• Processor: 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek 6589W-M
• Camera: Primary 5MP with LED Fash, BSI sensor, Secondary 0.3MP
• Storage: 4GB internal, expandable with microSD upto 32GB, 1GB RAM
• Connectivity: 3G, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS
• Battery: 2400 mAh

The XOLO Q700 comes with the XOLO Switch app which allows you to switch between profiles, XOLO Power app which optimizes battery usage to give your phone more juice and XOLO Secure app which allows the phone to be locked and tracked remotely.

At present there is no word from XOLO as to what will be the price of the Q700 but the phone has already been listed on Flipkart as coming soon.
