Xiaomi Redmi A5 4G Android Smartphone was launched in March 2025. It is priced in India at Rs. 6499, running on the Unisoc T7250 (12 nm) processor with Mali-G57 MP1 GPU. The phone has 6 GB RAM and 128 GB of internal storage which is expandable using microSDXC (dedicated slot).
The Redmi A5 4G has a 6.88 inches, 720 x 1640 pixels IPS display with a pixel density of 260 ppi. Coming to cameras, it has a 32 MP rear camera and a 8 MP front camera for selfies. It has a USB Type-C port for data syncing and charging. There is a fingerprint sensor present on the Redmi A5 4G as well, along with a magnetic field sensor (compass) and accelerometer sensor. It is a single SIM smartphone with support for 3G, Wi-Fi and FM Radio too.
The Redmi A5 4G runs on Android 15 (Go edition), up to 2 major Android upgrades and all this is powered by a 5200 mAh battery. It measures 171.7 x 77.8 x 8.3 mm (height x width x thickness) with a total weight of 193 grams including battery.
