Xiaomi Redmi 8A Dual Android Smartphone was announced in February 2020. It is priced in India at Rs. 6499, running on the Qualcomm SDM439 Snapdragon 439 (12 nm) processor with Adreno 505 GPU. The phone has 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage which is expandable using microSD, up to 512 GB (dedicated slot).
The Redmi 8A Dual has a 6.22 inches, 720 x 1520 pixels IPS display with a pixel density of 270 ppi. Coming to cameras, it has a 13 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera for selfies. It has a USB Type-C port for data syncing and charging. There is a magnetic field sensor (compass) present on the Redmi 8A Dual as well, along with a proximity sensor and accelerometer sensor. It is a dual SIM smartphone with support for 4G LTE, USB OTG, Wi-Fi, FM Radio and GPS too.
The Redmi 8A Dual runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) and all this is powered by a 5000 mAh battery. It measures 156.3 × 75.4 × 9.4 mm (height x width x thickness) with a total weight of 188 grams including battery.
