Xiaomi Redmi 8 Android Smartphone was launched in August 2019. It is priced in India at Rs. 7999, running on the Qualcomm SDM439 Snapdragon 439 (12 nm) processor with Adreno 505 GPU. The phone has 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage which is expandable using microSD, up to 512 GB (dedicated slot).
The Redmi 8 has a 6.22 inches, 720 x 1520 pixels IPS display with a pixel density of 270 ppi. It has Gorilla Glass protection as well. Coming to cameras, it has a 12 MP rear camera and a 8 MP front camera for selfies. It has a microUSB port for data syncing and charging. There is a fingerprint sensor present on the Redmi 8 as well, along with a magnetic field sensor (compass), proximity sensor and accelerometer sensor. It is a dual SIM smartphone with support for 4G LTE, USB OTG, Wi-Fi, FM Radio and GPS too.
The Redmi 8 runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) and all this is powered by a 5000 mAh battery. It measures 156.3 × 75.4 × 9.4 mm (height x width x thickness) with a total weight of 180 grams including battery.
