Sony Xperia ion HSPA Android Smartphone was launched in April 2012. It is running on the Qualcomm MSM8260 Snapdragon processor with Adreno 220 GPU. The phone has 1 GB RAM and 13.2 GB (12.9 GB user-available memory) of internal storage which is expandable using microSD, up to 32 GB.
The Xperia ion HSPA has a 4.55 inches HD, 720 x 1280 pixels display with a pixel density of 323 ppi. Coming to cameras, it has a 12 MP rear camera and a 1.3 MP front camera for selfies. It has a microUSB port for data syncing and charging. There is a accelerometer sensor present on the Xperia ion HSPA. It is a single SIM smartphone with support for 3G, USB OTG, NFC, Wi-Fi, FM Radio, Bluetooth and GPS too.
The Xperia ion HSPA runs on Android OS, v2.3 (Gingerbread), planned upgrade to v4.1 (Jelly Bean) and all this is powered by a 1900 mAh battery. It measures 133 x 68 x 10.8 mm (height x width x thickness) with a total weight of 144 grams including battery.
