It is priced in India at Rs. 17999 ($275.00), running on the Qualcomm MSM8917 Snapdragon 425 processor with Adreno 308 GPU. The phone has 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage which is expandable using microSD, up to 256 GB (dedicated slot).
The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has a 8.0 inches WXGA, 800 x 1280 pixels IPS display with a pixel density of 189 ppi. Coming to cameras, it has a 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera for selfies. It has a microUSB port for data syncing and charging. There is a ambient light sensor present on the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) as well, along with a proximity sensor and accelerometer sensor. It is a dual SIM smartphone with support for 4G LTE, USB OTG, Wi-Fi, FM Radio, Bluetooth and GPS too.
