Samsung Galaxy S8 Active Android Smartphone was launched in August 2017. It is running on the Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 processor with Adreno 540 GPU. The phone has 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage which is expandable using microSD, up to 256 GB (dedicated slot).
The Galaxy S8 Active has a 5.8 inches, 1440 x 2960 pixels Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 568 ppi. It has Gorilla Glass protection as well. Coming to cameras, it has a 12 MP rear camera and a 8 MP front camera for selfies. It has a USB Type-C port for data syncing and charging. There is a notification LED present on the Galaxy S8 Active as well, along with a fingerprint sensor, magnetic field sensor (compass), gyroscope sensor, heart rate sensor, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor and accelerometer sensor. It is a dual SIM smartphone with support for 4G LTE, USB OTG, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS too.
The Galaxy S8 Active runs on Android OS, v7.0 (Nougat) and all this is powered by a 4000 mAh battery. It measures 151.9 x 74.9 x 9.9 mm (height x width x thickness) with a total weight of 208.1 grams including battery.
