Samsung Galaxy A9 Android Smartphone was launched in December 2015. It is priced in India at Rs. 33000 ($499.00), running on the Qualcomm MSM8976 Snapdragon 652 processor with Adreno 510 GPU. The phone has 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage which is expandable using microSD, up to 128 GB.
The Galaxy A9 has a 6.0 inches Full HD, 1080 x 1920 pixels Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 367 ppi. Coming to cameras, it has a 13 MP rear camera and a 8 MP front camera for selfies. It has a microUSB port for data syncing and charging. There is a fingerprint sensor present on the Galaxy A9 as well, along with a magnetic field sensor (compass), ambient light sensor and accelerometer sensor. It is a dual SIM smartphone with support for 4G LTE, NFC, Wi-Fi, FM Radio, Bluetooth and GPS too.
The Galaxy A9 runs on Android OS, v5.1.1 (Lollipop), planned upgrade to v6.0 (Marshmallow) and all this is powered by a 4000 mAh battery. It measures 161.7 x 80.9 x 7.4 mm (height x width x thickness) with a total weight of 200 grams including battery.
