Samsung Galaxy A8 Android Smartphone was launched in July 2015. It is priced in India at Rs. 26990 ($396.91), running on the Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 processor with Adreno 405 GPU. The phone has 2 GB RAM and 16/32 GB of internal storage which is expandable using microSD, up to 128 GB (uses SIM 2 slot).
The Galaxy A8 has a 5.7 inches Full HD, 1080 x 1920 pixels Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 386 ppi. Coming to cameras, it has a 16 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera for selfies. It has a microUSB port for data syncing and charging. There is a fingerprint sensor present on the Galaxy A8 as well, along with a accelerometer sensor. It is a dual SIM smartphone with support for 4G LTE, NFC, Wi-Fi, FM Radio, Bluetooth and GPS too.
The Galaxy A8 runs on Android OS, v5.1 (Lollipop) and all this is powered by a 3050 mAh battery. It measures 158 x 76.8 x 5.9 mm (height x width x thickness) with a total weight of 151 grams including battery.
